My husband said this was awesome. I cooked it in a meatloaf pan with removable bottom, so the grease could drain out. I only aded one cup of the relish as it was REALLY wet and I was apprehensive. Totally delicious. Will be making this weekly. Even fussy teenaged son wolfed it down.

This was just not what I expected. Mixing in 1.5 cups of tomato katsup relish made this loaf look like soup. It couldn't even hold a form on the sheet pan. Yes, it tasted ok, but presentation was awful. It looked like one giant flat burger, unacceptable for company eyes. I will Not be making this again and still in search of the 'best' of the best. Sorry Tyler, but not this time.

I really don't care for meatloaf but this was great. My husband loved it. He came home tonight and wanted me to give him a copy of the recipe for a friend at work that he was telling about the great meatloaf he had for dinner. He has never came home and ask for a copy of a recipe, and it's been 32 years!! This is definitely a keeper and repeater. I didn't change a thing.

This recipe is amazing! Moist and super tasty. I used some of the left over relish and cooked it with steak and it was fabulous.

A bit more effort than regular meatloaf, but the savory taste and juiciness are worth it. Perfect comfort food and makes for great leftovers. Interesting enough to serve to an impromptu guest with some mashed potatoes and veggies on the side.

I never do recipes straight up: For this I use 2 pounds of ground meat, add 1/2 cup Progresso garlic & herb breadcrumbs in addition to the sliced bread, and leave out the bacon. Some dried thyme and hot pepper give the relish a bit more snap. Half beef/half pork is downright decadent. 1/2 ground turkey thigh + 1/4 pork + 1/4 beef works out pretty well too. Once you get the hang of it, you can just add the right amount of salt instead of cooking a test patty. Finally, cooking the leftover relish a bit longer lets it turn into more of a glaze instead of ketchup with veggies.
