Holy Mojo Sauce! SPICY! This recipe ROCKS! Everyone in my family LOVED it! I served it as a burrito bar a la chipotle. So, everyone got to decide what ingredients they wanted to try. My kids are kind of hard to please, and never agree on what to eat. This is a unanimous WIN! One fun thing: put the sour cream in a baggie and clip the corner to make it squeezable, which makes it easier to place it where you want it and the kids think it's great fun! I just read some of the reviews below and think adding a bit of honey and cutting back a bit on the olive oil in the mojo sauce would have made it even better as it was a bit oily, thin, and hot (but it was still good. An easy, inexpensive, quick (definitely use the shortcuts with roasted chicken and canned black beans, delicious weeknight dinner. Winner, winner! :

SO GOOD! Not sure if I used the right peppers for the Serranos so bc of that I think they were lacking a bit of heat but other than that they were amazing! I agree the sauce was a little thin but as long as you add it on top of the chicken it doesn't make the burrito runny. Definitely try these you will not be disappointed!

I made these today and they were good but they lacked a real kick. I roasted my own chicken and made the rice. As for the beans I sauted the oinions, etc... and then added a can of black beans and just heated it up. I left out the avacado. Im glad I tried the recipe but I probably won't make it again. Also, the mojo sauce was a bit on the thin side.

I made everything from scratch. If you do this the entire meal will be very fresh and natural and still taste great. I also added a bit of honey to the mojo. If you are a cilantro fan you will love this sauce. The only thing I would change is some kind of heating method. You have the burrito assembled, now you need to meld the ingredients a bit. I found that a quick wrap in foil and pop in the oven for 5 mins did the trick. Make them super soft.

Although the sauce was good, the consistency was not what I expected. It was too runny and thin. My husband said it was delicious regardless, and was very fresh tasting. I thereafter used the leftover mojo sauce to marinate the carne asada tacos in Tyler's other recipe, which was really pretty delicious. I really do like Tyler's recipes, because he place a great deal of thought into his ultimate concoctions.

This is a really great recipe. Probably the best burrito I ever had by far... The burrito was full of big bold flavors just how I like it. Its an inexspensive meal very easy to prepare. Thx Tyler.

I had chicken on hand tonight and wanted to make something different. I ran out to the store to get the cilantro, limes, and avocado. I prepared the mojo with a couple of tweaks: 1 used 1 long hot pepper (my store had no serrano peppers and I added a teaspoon of sugar to cut the heat a bit. I also used canned refried beans that I heated up, and no rice since neither of us like rice. I baked a large chicken breast and shredded it with a fork.
I cook quite a bit, and my husband said this is probably the best thing I have ever made. Thanks Tyler! I tried your chicken noodle soup 2 weeks ago and I've made it 4 times already, lol : I have a new favorite chef!

and these burritos are very good! My husband loves them. I have made them twice. The first time I made everything from scratch , the beans, rice, etc. per the recipe. The next time, I did what so many others did, I used a box of Goya yellow rice and canned black beans that I doctored up. This is the way to go! The burritos were sooooo much easier and just as good, if not better. The mojo sauce is the key to this recipe. I took another reviewer's suggestion and added a touch of honey to the mojo and it was even better! We also like to eat this meal family style and put all the ingredients in bowls, use small flour tortillas and build our own little soft tacos with lots of mojo sauce drizzled on them. Yum! This is a fun recipe open to variations, just don't change the mojo-you can drizzle it on your napkin and that would be good-lol!
