My family really liked this dish. It was very time consuming to make with having to fry all that egg plant. I ended up quitting and not using some of the eggplant and it was still a lot of food. Would use this one again for a special occasion.

Really good sauce can use it on any dish and the egg plant was better than lasanga noodles. Very filling. Cut receipe in half for a small family.

This recipe was great, although the prep time was a lot longer than just 20 minutes. However the flavors of all the ingrediants blended together very well. It was easy to make overall, just leave enough time to bread and fry all the eggplant slices.

This was my first time eating/preparing eggplant. I followed another reviewer's suggestion and prepared the tomato sauce in advance. Total prep time was about 45 minutes (including sauce. The tomato sauce is definitely a keeper but I'm not sure if I will make the eggplant again - I guess we're just not "eggplant people."
