    Rank Amateur gets high taste, texture, appearance marks. Yes, I saw the show, but if you can read, you can do. Seriously, as an absolute newbie at cooking stuff other people are going to eat, this was a great starter. Being a newbie, took me longer than expected, but worth it.

    Tyler's recipe is a different and delicious way to prepare eggplant. The prep time is way off however. Plan
    on spending 3 hours start to finish.
    The tomato sauce is something I would
    use for other dishes as well. I did
    find it a little difficult to layer the
    slices uniformly. The end result, however, was worth it!

    This dish was quite a bit more labor intensive than the 20 min prep time indicates, but well worth the effort. The recipe makes a huge-party size quantity, but the leftovers freeze well.

    I had this at a party last Sat. night and I will definitely make this soon. Everyone raved. It's the most wonderful recipe .. and I've made a pretty good one before this .. but the extra ingredients really kick this up and make it special.

    This is TERRIFIC!!! This recipe is HUGE! I cut it down a tad b/c I got tired of frying eggplant. Also my largest dish is a 13x8 deep dish and I didn't think any more would fit (& I was right!! I also didn't use as much mozzarella, but it wasn't missed. This is an EXCELLENT dish!! And it feeds an army!!

    This is the best eggplant parmesan I have ever tasted! It takes a little longer than 20 minutes (for the first time to prep it though.

    Low carb all the way!! I love eggplant parmesan and I also love lasagna and this is the ULTIMATE "Veggie" lasagna!!

    Not bad tasting. Could use more flavor. Not as easy to make as it looks
    slicing the eggplant lengthwise is not easy if you're not use to it.

    This was by far the best eggplant parmesan we have ever eaten, and mine was always voted best by friends and family. I tried it on my family first and can't wait to make it for others. It always takes a while to make, but this recipe is worth every minute. Fabulous!!
