    Absolutely delicious, although it took hours to make. I would make sauce & even prepare eggplant ahead of time in the future. I baked the eggplant instead of frying. The San Marzano tomotoes were very good & will certainly use them again ~ worth finding a store that carried them.
    Everyone loved this dish. I also used this recipe for Chicken Parmesan (instead of the Eggplant. Very good Thank you Tyler! : :

    This recipe was great but VERY time consuming! 3-hours easy from start to finish. I didn't give it 5 stars only because I didn't use the correct pan (the longer rectangular-lasagna pan. I used a square pan and felt that the layers had to much ricotta in it. If the pan was longer I think the layers would have been thinner. I will definitely try this again!

    The recipe was very easy to follow and lent itself very well to any moderate changes to taste that someone might make.It is the construction of the ingredients which is the foundation of this recipe in my opinion. Thanks Tyler.

    Sauce is really good - make extra and freeze to use with pasta later! My husband loved this - and he said he didn't like eggplant!
