If you have been looking for a restaurant quality fajitas recipe...You just found it! Made these last night and they were AMAZING! I used chicken and skirt steak. I only marinaded them for 3 hrs and could not believe how great they were! The flavors just BURST! Gaucomole was easy and delicious! I never thought I could make fajitias so good! Stop your searching now and start cooking! Thanks Tyler!

Just finished this for dinner and it truly was amazing! I used flank steak and actually made the marinade late on Saturday and put meat and marinade in a plastic bag until tonight (Monday. I was nervous marinating the steak so long the flavors would be overpowering, but what we got was the most mouthwatering tender meat you can imagine. My husband grilled the meat perfectly medium rare while I cooked 1 green and 1 yellow pepper with onion on the stove. Served with mexican rice and beans and of course all the toppings. Thanks, Tyler, for a wonderful recipe. Very satisfying!

Made this tonight and we can't get enough! This marinade is so delicious. I marinated mine overnight and the meat was perfect. I only had chipolte sauce on hand and eyeballed it. Adding lime to the veggies was great, too. This is my go to recipe for grilling meat. Thanks Tyler!

I've made this twice now with boneless, skinless chicken breasts, & they always come out so tender, moist, & flavorful! I serve them with fresh corn tortillas that I warm up on the grill. The first time I was afraid of "over-marinating" the chicken, so I only marinated in a ziplock bag in the fridge for 5 hours. The second time I marinated them overnight, & they were still amazing! The only thing I do differently from the fajita recipe is that I use 2 chipotles instead of 3, but this still provides wonderful flavor. I'm looking forward to trying it with beef next time!

We were having a Memorial Day barbecue today so instead of fajitas, I just marinated two Ribeyes for 18 hours and cooked them on the grill. These were amazing! My husband said they were better than any steak he's had at any resturant. And I don't really like steak, but I ate the entire dang thing. Has a great kick!

It is an awesome marinade--I have even marinated up to 24 hours (a little kick, but not too bad. Fresh and Spicey---gotta love it!

Being a Texan, I have eaten and cooked PLENTY of Tex-Mex. I have tried countless fajita marinades and this one is, hands-down, the very best I've ever had. You cannot beat the flavor in the very best Mexican restaurants. I have used it many times and it never, ever fails me. I lightened up a bit for chicken by adding some lime flavored beer. Delish!

First, I was a little concerned about the ingredients-chipotle peppers in Adobo sauce. Where would I find that? My local Wegman's had it in their international food section.

We cook on electric, so I heated our grill plate in the oven at 500 for 1/2 hour. I put it on two burners and cooked the steak exactly as covered in the recipe.

The meat was PERFECT. Juicy, well flavored, the perfect amount of char. We didn't have dessert. Everyone ate more steak.

One of the best recipes I have made from this site and I have made 100's.

This Fajita recipe was without a doubt the most workable tasty recipe ever...i entertained a new date (as well as my son and his date for the evening..and had total confidence this would impress...and it did..i doubled the marinade because i wanted to add chicken breast and shrimp. (altho do not marinade the shrimp in the citrus based marinade..skewer and BRUSH it on before and during cooking. (make sure to reserve a portion for this ..... serving all proteins atop the grilled crisp veggies on a large platter with all the other fixings on the side makes for an eye appealing presentation...have fun with it....the taste is amazing thank you Tyler..the best ever.....
