I have went to countless Mexican Restaurants and this recipe beats them all hands down! I love it and my family does too! Thanks Tyler, now I can make authentic fajitas without having to go to Mexican town to get it!

Very, very good. I will be using this recipe as my go-to fajita recipe. The marinade is so flavorful, don't leave anything out!

Hands down, best fajitas! The marinade is absolutely amazing! It's spicy and perfect! Definitely make the effort to use skirt steak (also called flap meat, it's one of my favorite cuts of beef and it's usually about $4.99/lb (in California.
The chipotles in adobo sauce have an amazing smoky flavor. They are the star ingredient in these fajitas, DO NOT LEAVE THEM OUT!!! You can find them in most grocery stores in 7 oz. cans in the mexican foods aisle. A little goes a loooong way.
I made the fajitas for my family and they L O V E D them! I used the extra chipotle peppers from the can and made some awesome hot sauce to top the fajitas... my family raved about it, very spicy!! I'm making the fajitas again tonight!! I can't wait!!

I have used this recipe a few times already and it definitely makes wonderfully tasting fajitas. They were the first things to go at the Superbowl party! Its super easy when you just pour everything into the blender and let it sit overnight. I have used this marinade with skirt and flank and they both come out great! If you want a great salsa recipe that everybody absolutely raves about, just use a jar of lime and garlic picante sauce (or whichever you prefer and pour into a blender with fresh cilantro, fresh garlic, the leftover chiles in adobe sauce and blend away. Its super easy but tastes fantastic with the fajitas!

I made these for my family last night and I was amazed at how delicious everything was! My kids could not get enough -even loved the peppers and onions which if you have kids you know is a big deal! The combination of the marinade on the meat with the lime and olive oil on the peppers was terrific- I added some cumin to the peppers while they were on the grill - it was fantastic. The best part was heating up the skirt steak/pepper/onion mixture the next day and putting into a green salad with some of the homemade guacamole/grated cheddar cheese and some balsamic vinegar- hard to believe but I think it may have even been better than last night's meal.
Thanks Tyler for another go to meal my family will enjoy for a long time!

The mojo is the key: fresh, spicy, flavorful and easy. I used a blender. Will make extra or set some mojo aside to baste as grill. Skirt steak or chicken breast...great for the fajitas.
I made another batch of mojo the next day and used it with pork tenderloin. I grilled the pork about 5 minutes a side and then finished it in a 400 degree oven for about 8-10 minutes. Served the pork as a main using the guacamole (loved the guacamole! as the condiment. Finished the course with mexican rice and side of thinly sliced cucumbers mixed with sour cream.
Looking forward to trying the mojo with shrimp.

These were the best fajitas my family and I have ever had. I was not expecting much, but there were so good I was amazed that I had made them, even with the recipe. My food doesn't always come out the way it's suppose to. We will definitely be making this dish again.
