I only made the sauce. This is a quick and easy recipe that tastes great. I had to use cheese that was already grated, still tasted good. Freshly grated parmesan would make a difference though. I just seasoned it with salt to my liking. Never thought alfredo sauce was so easy to make.

Just made the alfredo sauce. Excellent, my sons who are very picky foodies loved it. I used light cream and I took a 1/4c in a measuring cup and added a tsp of corn starch. Put it back in the pan and it thickened beautifully. I used half shredded and half grated cheese, added a little garlic and it was a quick meal.

I am rating the sauce only/did not make the pasta. I'm not really sure how to rate it beacause I loved mine....but realized after I made it that I made a mistake and used a HALF pint not a PINT of heavy cream....so essentially I was using double the cheese in mine proportionally. Some other posters complained it was bland or thin. Needless to say mine was neither......

I used Whipping Cream and the best parmigiana cheese.......just did nothing for me. Was thin so added a tablespoon of flour. Oh well.....28 weeks pregnant I'll eat anything!

I used the sauce recipe. I prepared it exactly as instructed, the sauce never thickened and the flavor was a little to sharp and bitter.

I just use this recipe for the sauce. I add grilled chicken to my pasta and next time I'm going to try shrimp. The sauce is amazing!

Wow! Was great. one of my Daughters is an Alfredo lover. This came out VERY good. I used an additional table spoon of olive oil and water as I make my pasta in a mixer with a pasta attachment. Worked great. While you can make the pasta with plain flour, the 00 simply makes it much better!

If I were to make any changes, perhaps a bit of garlic or shallot grated, just for flavor.
