This was excellent. We had it for Christmas dinner and it was a big hit!

I only used the Bearnaise recipe and used my own for the filet. The bearnaise was incredibly quick and easy. I thought the taste was an excellent accompainiment without overpowering my filet. It's a good thing I liked the taste as I have never had bearnaise before and had no time to make anything else. It was a hit!

Bearnaise is sooooo good with any beef, it's almost a waste to put it on a fillet, which tastes great all by itself. I had one issue with the blender bearnaise and that was the texture. If you do it the normal way and cook it over a double boiler it is perfect, and not that much more work. It's just too runny this way because the yolks are essentially raw and butter doesn't give you that creamy mayonaisse quality. Maybe ghee instead?. The taste is spot on though. If you have never tried this classic sauce, do try it!!!

I just finished making the bearnaise sauce. It was good! Very tasty and easy to make. My husband is not a french sauce kind of guy so he said it was "ok".
Personally, I would make this again when I have guests over and I make filet mignon.

The filet was perfect but the real show stopper was the Bearnaise. Everyone loved it and people who never had it, loved it. It was simple and worked like a charm.

I served this with the bacon and brussels sprouts hash like Tyler did on the Holiday Parties episode. Beyond perfect. The bearnaise was easy and even the teenagers at my Christmas dinner liked it. Do over for sure. Though one thing to note, this can get expensive when you have a decent size dinner party.

This is an easy recipe to follow! The meat came out fantastic for my New Years Eve dinner.
The bernaise is very easy to make as well. I might put a bit less liquid in next time as I like my sauce a bit thicker but, overall, great recipe!

I love bernaise sauce, but the double boiler method sometimes puts me off from making it. This was easy, quick and very tasty. The filet mignon cooking directions were super and I had a great meal. Ten stars in my book.
    Thank you Mr. Florence.
