    Followed directions to the letter, and the batter cooked right off of the fish. Total disaster..

    ABSOLUTELY the BEST! Tyler's recipes NEVER let me down! I did use all purpose flour instead of rice flour, but...didn't make any difference! (Just so you don't have to hunt for rice flour. I used a deep fryer and left the lid off and the chips and the fish were crispy in 41/2 minutes! My husband gave it a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10! Definately goes in my "will make again" recipes!

    My family has been vacationing in Maine for years, and this is the most authentic tasting fish and chips recipe I've found. We could have been dining in Maine. It's definitely a keeper.

    This is a fantastic recipe - possibly the best fish and chips I have ever had. My husband loves it too. I substituted tilapia and used sparkling mineral water because that is what I had on hand. Tyler never fails!

    I wear a hair piece and sometimes feel uncomfortable going out in public to enjoy my favorite dishes. My girlfriend thinks I look just fine but I feel that people are always staring at me. I suppose if i shaved off my beard people wouldn't think I was so odd since it doesn't match the color of my aforementioned hair piece (black. That being said my favorite fried dish has always been fish and chips. My grandmother was from England and she liked to cook this all the time, but my grandfather made her get another hobby (needlepoint because the house always smelled like Crisco.I have enjoyed making this meal of fish and chips using the EXACT recipe provided by Tyler (BIG FAN. I loved the salty bite it provided.

    This was so delicious!!! I've never gotten fried fish to look this good, and the fries were awesome. It took way longer than 5 minutes for my fish to get crispy though.

    this was SUPER FANTASTIC AWESOME!!! I had to hunt in the market to find the rice flour, but now that I know what that is...i won't forget. My children LOVE LOVE LOVED it and fought over the last pieces! I served it diner style in those cute plastic trays that you get at a fish n' chips place on parchment paper. We had a blast eating it and i'm bragging to all my friends! My son tells everyone about mommy's amazing FISH AND CHIPS (thanks Tyler
