WOW!! much better than kfc, Ilove this chiken, but one tip you can substitute the paprika for "achiote", sometimes people is alergic to paprika so this is good choice and you don't missed the teast

The chili paste that Tyler adds to the buttermilk before dipping the chicken, in my opinion, makes this dish a little too hot for just good old fried chicken. You could feel the burning on your tongue, or at least I could and this is not a dish I would cook up for real young kids. Leaving out the chili paste would be a better option, unless you want a kick to your chicken, then leave it in.
