I was thinking maybe this was an April Fools day joke, or a prank or something else, but this dish was god awful. WAY too much salt, and the batter hardly stuck to the chicken. The cook and prep time are off. All in all, this recipe just stinks.

How about a little chicken with your soy sauce? Maybe it was a typographical error but 1 1/2 cups of low sodium soy sauce seemed too much. I used only 3/4 cup and it was still to overpowering.

There MUST have been a misprint for the amt. of soy sauce. It was so salty it was inedible. A real dissapointment since I spent an hour and a half in the kitchen for this entire meal. I'm sure with some adjusting it would be great. There was also a misprint for the amt. of water in the scallion pancakes.

This has way too much soy sauce. Was there a misprint? It was so salty we couldn't even eat it. The chicken was good before we put it in the sauce. Maybe good if you used only 1/2 cup of soy sauce?

I?ll have to experiment with this dish again; even using low sodium soy sauce, it turned out too salty! Instead of using 1 ? cups of soy sauce at the end of the procedure, I would suggest trying just one cup.
Something seemed to be missing in this dish. Tyler should have gotten the ?real deal? way of cooking this dish from someone of orient culture, this dish seems too americanized. Nice try though Tyler!

I wonder if there is a typo in this recipe. In the episode, Tyler added peanuts, too, and none are mentioned in this recipe. Is there supposed to be less soy sauce???
