This was a very average recipe and I don't get all the 5-star ratings. In fact, my usual mashed potatoes with butter and sour cream are far superior to this, with less effortl

Made this for Christmas dinner and it was a big hit. Ran out of potatoes and everyone wanted more. Will definitely make again!

My family hates Mustard so I left it out. Instead of Olive Oil I added White Truffle Oil 2-3 tablespoons. Doubled the recipe to feed 8 and ran out of potatoes. Had alot of Turkey leftover though.

These were absolutely wonderful. My 15 year old son hates mashed potates, I know what kid hates mashed potatoes. He loved these. The cooked milk and cream really give the potatoes a creamy flavor along with the whole grain mustard gives it a punch. Anything of Tyler's is great. I will never make regular mashed potatoes ever again, these were outstanding and believe me my family is picky.

These are amazing. I love smashed potatoes and have perfected a recipe, but wanted to try something new. The hint of mustard is awesome. Maybe try not boiling on high, just medium-high if you have a problem with milk boiling over.
