It was ok, but ultimately too much work for the result. Next year I will stik to my traditional casserole.

This has great taste with the fresh herbs. I found it to be a bit runny. I suggest you stir the croutons into the beans to absorb the tasty sauce 5 min before serving

This is very easy and beats the tar out of our old way of doing green beans. A Big hit at thanksgiving and pot lucks throughout the year.

This green bean dish looks fantastic and I'm excited about including it for our Thanksgiving this year, but I have a question i'm hoping someone can answer... I'd like to make it the day before but am not sure if I should bake it the day before as well, or just prepare it up to the point it goes into the oven and pop it in the fridge over night? I will be sure to make the croutons on the day I plan to serve. Any advise? Thanks! :- PS If this turns out to be even half as good as all of Tyler's recipies I've tried, I'll be delighted! He's the BEST!!

I don't usually like green bean casserole, but I was asked to make it for a family gathering. I found this recipe and was truely impressed. The family loved it! It can be prepared the day before, but I would suggest making the croutons the day you serve it.
