easy to make, I couldn't find good green beans so I used asapagras instead, great taste. I liked the flavor of the toasted nuts.

My family really enjoyed the green beans. I was eating them like they were candy after i finished cooking them.

easy quick and really yummy. even the kids liked it. To save time I used a good quality frozen whole green,(Trader Joe's. Just let them defrost before mixing with the onions.

We loved this - accompanied the meatloaf. fabulous. Even my husband raved and he's not much of a green bean fan. And I think this would be a great way to eat other veggies too - like zucchini. It was a nice way to eat the same old boring beans. Thanks Tyler!

Okay, I confess...I prepared the whole meal. The meatloaf, potatoes and beans. But who could resist? He made it look so wonderful. And it WAS. These green beans were the absolute best I have ever had. And I also made them for a church dinner we had and oh my goodness! They received rave reviews!

I have made green beans with almonds before, but never with caramelized onions. This is the best use of fresh green beans.
