Easy to follow and so delicious even my "I never eat lamb" guests couldn't stop...
I had other choices for them - next time a bigger roast. I've made this several times and used the marinade of other meats as well. I know it by heart now.
    Thanks, Tyler! :

This was a great Easter meal for us. The pears were such a great side for the lamb. We used two sprigs of rosemary in the garlic rub and eight sprigs with the pears. The list of ingredients were a bit misleading. There is also a typo in the directions for preparing the pears...do use the balsalmic vingegar and not the oil. I highly recommend this menu...although, I will admit, we used baby potatoes instead of the polenta...we are notherners.

This recipe is so easy to make and has a huge WOW factor. I made it for a dinner party of 12 friends and they all loved it. Everything was delicious.

Very easy to make, tasted great, was a big hit this Christmas. The flavors of the pears with the lamb went very well together. I didn't make the polenta b/c it seemed like too much trouble so I substituted scalloped potatoes instead. Either way, I'd make the lamb and the pears again.

We absolutely loved this recipe! My mom, who is not an adventurous eater (and yes, to her lamb is adventurous, loved it too. Even my small children enjoyed this recipe. It has great impression-value (friends and relatives are impressed with the taste and presentation, and yet it is a pretty simple meal to make.

We didn't have butcher's twine, which I'm sure would have worked better, so we used skewers. They did fine. Just a tip if you don't keep twine around.

It sounded good; but I was skeptical about the pears. it was easy to make and quick. pears helped round out the meal. Funny, the hardest thing to make was the polenta. I live south of the mesquite curtain so I had to substitute bartlet pears; but, it still worked. If you haven't tried it- it's worth the try just for the convenience
