Letting the Brie melt is key. This is a delicious, tasty dish and a quick meal. Everyone loved the sandwiches.

Tres tasty. I might try it with a different type of cheese next time...But this sandwich is a must try! Don't skimp on the apple butter.

The butter goes on the inside AND outside, only it goes on the outside in the pan first, or on the bread if you prefer. The recipe is clear. Very tasty!

I used fresh apple slices instead of apple butter because I had apples and did not want to buy apple butter. It was good, the flavors worked well together.

This recipe was a big hit at my house!! We loved the sweetness of the apple butter paired with the spice of the arugula!! A real treat for our entire family.

Made this for my husband today-wanted a bite and he was VERY hesitant to give it up! Sooo good-used some leftover sautéed onions, which took the place of the a sent apple butter sweetness-put it in a panini press to melt Brie and crisp rye bread-outstanding!

Mmm soo good. I used baby spinach instead of arugula... don't think it makes a big difference. The melty brie was so yummy and rye is the perfect bread to use. I also used plain old apple butter (apples and water, no spices added and it was perfect. Definitely will be making this sandwich a lot.
