I have seen him make guac on a different show before and this is not exactly how he made it there. He did not put cumin and chili powder in it and he added a splash of olive oil. This is almost exactly how I make guac. The changes are I added cayenne for a little zip and I usually use salsa instead of tomatoes. Also - I do not use cumin or chili powder. I always get rave reviews.

I'm not much of a guacamole eater, but my friends are and they ate it up! I have never made guacamole dip so this was a new experience for me. The recipe was super easy and it was a lot of fun to make even if I didn't get a taste. It got rave reviews!

I really don't like the cumin and chili powder in the guacamole, I think it takes away from the freshness. I would rather get the flavor from the avocados and fresh onion and tomato. I liked Ina Garten's recipe better!

My friends and family love this guac recipe, even those that aren't guac fans. I like to add a little cayenne in it, just to put a little bit of spice. One of Tyler's big hits!!

I was a little leary at first about the cumin in this recipe. I made this with tomatoes & red onions fresh from my garden and it was delicious! I love the tang from the lime and the flavor combination of all the ingredients.

I have never eaten guacamole, but when I saw Tyler make this it really looked very yummy. I made it for a barbecue I was having. Wow, it was a big hit. Very fresh and incredible flavor.

This was super simple to make and super tastey!! My family and I are huge guacamole fams and have had the same recipe for years and years! I found this recipe and decided to try something new at a family gathering. I got some looks when I put it on the table but afterwards WOW! We've replaced our old recipe with this one, I don't think it will ever be beaten!
