I would give this recipe 5 stars but there is waaaay to much lime. 3 limes is crazy. I would start with 1.5 and go up from there slowly. I'm heading to a Superbowl party and am bummed out at my guac.

Outstanding! Flavors just bust in your mouth, all complimenting each other perfectly. The video is helpful for the potato peeler tip to mash the avocados with while leaving them chunky. In fact I left them even more chunky. I also used Bush's Beans (original along with sharp cheddar cheese. I cooked corn tortillas by spraying them with olive oil (Pam and then popped them in a 400 degree oven (375 convection for about six minutes. After removing them from the oven, I layered the ingredients starting with the beans, then cheese, and topping it all with a generous spoonful of the guacamole. Fantastic!

Another tip given: lay plastic wrap down in the bowl right on top of the guacamole to keep air sealed out.

Made it exactly to recipe the first time. Added more tomatoes & avocado as lime a little strong. Cut back on lime juice the next time, kept adding to taste and it was incredible! Love the chunkiness. Can't stand the ultra mashed green goppy guac you are served so often.

This is a good recipe and I will make it again EXCEPT I will not use 3 limes. That must be a typo. The overwhelming taste of lime was so strong that it almost took over the flavor of the cilantro which is pretty hard to do. So now I'm basically having to deal with masking the lime with sour cream. I'm sure it will not cover it all, but it wont be so strong. Do yourself a favor and when making this use a half a lime . That is more than enough for 3 avocados.
