    I thought the garlic bread was perfect. However, I only baked 1/2 loaf of the italian bread since I have a small family and I used most of the herb butter (so in essence, I doubled the amount of herb butter. It came out perfect. I could see why people might think it was bland if they used the butter on both halves of the bread.. but doubling the amount should do the trick. I think I also added an extra clove of garlic.
    My 21 month old daughter could not stop eating it.. and she's a finicky little eater herself.

    Of all the different ways and recipes for garlic bread, this is hands down the best of all that I have tried. Everyone who has tried this has given huge compliments and had to have the recipe. Awesome!

    I would use a lot less herbs next time...it looked like cooked spinach on bread and was a little overpowering
