Please please please read these reviews before making this dish. Must be a misprint with the salt. Everything else about the dish was extrodinary, (make sure to add fresh rosemary, but the salt was way too overpowering. This was my first time making a prime rib, and I feel like I wasted a very expensive piece of meat. Don't use anywhere near 1/2 cup of salt. Cut it in half AT LEAST. Other than the salt issue, this was a great meal, and I will be making it again.

I love the way this tastes. Horseradish with prime rib is the best. I do not have to use a horseradish sauce anymore.

That will teach me to read the reviews FIRST! I saw Tyler make this meal today and I was entranced. I ran out and bought everything including sea salt. Waaaaaay Toooooo Much SALT! Such a lovely meat but it is not ruined, but almost! I still love you, Tyler salt or no!

Excellent recipe. Cooked it on the grill with hickory wood the second time and it was even better. I used a little less salt and more garlic. It is the best prime rib I've had or made!
