After reading the reviews I cut the salt in half and substitued Dijon Mustard for horseradish. It was delicious. It was my first attempt at Prime rib and everyone loved it.

I couldn't recommend more highly another prime rib recipe. And, as good as it is out of the oven, it's even better the next day, stuck back under the broiler. Through in a few Yorkshire Puddings, and your holiday is well on its way.

The recipe was printed wrong. It didn't mention the rosemary and it stated sea salt and Tyler said Kosher Salt on tv. Also, it was way too salty. Next time I will cut the salt in half. I would also wait to put the veggies in the roasting pan. They were inedible. The drippings were unusable, so I used chicken broth for the sauce and it turned out very tasty. I got a 6 pound roast, which was the same size he used and I baked it for the time stated. It was so rare, it was like I never cooked it. I ended up slicing it and putting it on a grill to get it to medium well. I do plan on making it again, but I will definitely modify the recipe.

I thought this was a really good recipe. I made it for Christmas and my guests really enjoyed it. When I printed out the recipe, I was concerned with the amount of salt it called for in the rub. I made it according to the recipe and found that it was way too much for my taste. I think next time I will make the rub with about half (or less of the salt.

For Christmas my daughter and I did almost every recipe from Tyler's ultimate dinner. Fabulous!! But, the rub for the prime rib was outstanding. I consider myself to be a pretty good cook, but I have never eaten a prime rib this juicy, tender and mouth watering, ever. Got nothing but compliments. Koooodos to Tyler.

I read the reviews prior to cooking, I found the correct recipe using the Rosemary. I used Kosher salt instead of sea salt. There was way to much salt, the vegetables were inedible and the juice not usable. I would cut the salt to no more than 1/4 cup or less. I would also stuff the roast with garlic cloves and add more horseradish.
