Unbelievably AWFUL. These are NOT donuts. These are rolls that I wasted hours makiNg then deep frying. If I could give this a negative star rating, I would. Look elsewhere. I can't believe I didn't read the reviews first.

This has got to be one of the worst recipes I have EVER made. This is the third recipe of his I have tried and something is ALWAYS wrong with them. I am not sure how this turned out for some and not for others. And the taste just seemed off. I definitely wasted my ink printing this one out. I KNEW I should of stuck with my grandmotrher's recipe EVERYONE LOVES them! I just wanted to try something different. What a waste of my time. Oh and I even had them filled with my own homemade strawberry jam , The jam was delicious it was a shame it was wasted on something so horrible.

I'm fairly certain I only used 3 cups flour, not 3.5 (I lost count at some point, and I used bread flour not cake flour (because I didn't have cake flour but my donuts turned out beautifully. They were very light and fluffy. I used smuckers jelly on the inside and packets of sweetener on the outside (I didn't actually check to see if I had all the ingredients necessary, but the donuts still taste delicious. Not Krispy Kreme quality but definitely could be sold in grocery stores. Also, it makes about 10 donuts (not 6. Yay donuts!

They weren't as good as I thought it would be. Very disappointed in the recipe. Krispy Creme are much better. I would like a recipe that is lighter and softer.
