I like Tyler Florence but there was nothing special about these 'dumplings' (they're more biscuits than dumplings. Not worth my time, particularly because I don't care for biscuits.

FYI: If you not find ripe Plantains, you can buy the yellow and place on top of your refrigator to rippening over night. A trick my mother and grandma used to do back home in Antigua.

I enjoy every show of yours. I especially enjoy the Caribbean delights I grew up loving. Keep stirring up rhythm and soul in the kitchen!

These were so good, especially with the corn pudding. Everyone loved them, can't wait to make the whole meal again.

this was yum with the corn porridge and jerk chicken. Plantains were not at my local store at the time i planed this meal, so i used not so ripe bananas. After frying ,I put the pan with the dumplings in the oven at 375 for a few to finish off the sides of them.. Ya know this dumpling had a nice island tast. It is "a make againrr"

This is a nice way of adding a twist to our famous fried dumplings, normally I'd have it with the plaintains fried & places on the side, but never fried in the dough. Maybe you can try it next time with some codfish. I must say good job mon!
