I didn't make the cupcakes with jelly in them, but I did make the frosting and put it between chocolate cake layers. I recently had friends over for a BBQ & they LOVED the frosting! If you don't like the "heaviness" of peanut butter, but like the peanut butter-y taste-- you will like this frosting!

The cupcakes were a hit with my grandchildren. But your recipe for the peanut butter frosting makes far too much. You could do away with half the fat in this recipe and come up with a better frosting.
