I love this recipe. I make this recipe for special occasions and my family and extended family have all proclaimed that this is better than any lasagna they have ever had. It has excellent flavor and is very hearty. I will never use another recipe ever again.

This is the best lasagna recipe. It's delicious I have been making this every thanksgiving and easter for the past few years. It's a tradition my husband would have a nervous breakdown if it wasn't on the table! Lol. After it's done baking I put on the broiler for just a couple of minutes so the cheese can be a nice golden brown on top. Thanks Tyler

YUM!!! Made this for the first time tonight for dinner- it was fantastic, the whole family enjoyed. It took a bit longer to make (about 2 hours with cook time but it was definitely worth the work.

I have made this recipe every Christmas for years...I make it other times of the year too, but my husband whines every time I suggest something else to try for our Christmas dinner. It has become a tradition. It is THE best lasagna. I follow the recipe completely and never had a problem. Thank you Tyler!

great, but I had to use a much bigger and deeper pan than a regular 13x9. Very tasty though!

I made this recipe for 20 people, used an aluminum turkey roasting tray and tripled the recipe. It was AMAZING. Huge success, thanks Tyler!

Would hold off topping with cheese, until last 10mim. Most flavorful and easy to make. We Love it.

This lasagna is the best. I have been making it for several years for my family and it is always a hit. My daughter always asks for this lasagna for her birthday dinner,

This is a great recipe! Although I made a couple alterations....

I used oven-ready noodles which I thought still tasted great. I followed the directions the same, just put in hard noodles instead of cooked ones. That saved the extra boiling step plus the trickiness of using the slippery noodles. Just make sure to use an extra deep pan because the noodles are thicker and rigid so they take up more room than cooked noodles.

Next time I make it I think I'll use a little more sauce. I used 3 cans of 16oz tomato sauce. I think I'll use 4 cans and it will be perfect.

I also used dried herbs and parsley. I'm sure that makes a difference, but I still thought it was very flavorful!

Also, I agree with everyone else, don't skip out on the sausage. It adds great flavor. I might try using a spicier sausage next time. Or do half and half.

I cooked the dish covered in aluminum foil and then broiled a few minutes at the end. It gave the top layer a great look/taste.

Also one more tip... put a cookie sheet or aluminum foil under pan in oven. It will save you the headache of cleaning it in case of some bubbling over.

I have made this lasgna several times and I keep going back to this recipe. I have made it for guests and they also love it. It's easy and delicious for entertaning. I love tyler's recipes, but this is one that I will keep for years. The only thing I did changed was not boiling the noodles. I oil them in a pan and just pour hot water on them. They cook when you bake the lasagna. Thanks Tyler
