I always had trouble with filets but this was so perfect. A burst of great flavors in your mouth leave you wanting more.

We loved this! My husband is a huge carnivore, and I NEVER cook red meat. This looked too good to skip, and my husband couldn't stop raving about the salsa. I added a bit more jalepeno and lime to the veggies (in addition to what's in the chimichurri. The only change I will make next time is to dice the jicima instead of cube it-- it's a bit too crunchy to leave in big pieces. Looking forward to trying the salsa with swordfish and chicken.

Maybe because I live in Miami and have a great deal of latin restaurants, is why i was disappointed in this meal. The chimichurri sauce didn't taste right. The salsa was bland. Half of a raw red onion was also a little too strong (a little less may have been better.

I followed the recipe exactly, and it was great. It was very easy to make. My 9 year old daughter helped me out, and it was a snap. Even she loved the salsa. She said, "wow, I am eating onions, and they are good." Will def. make again.

While I've never made the salsa, I have used Tyler's technique for cooking filet mignon on numerous occasions since I first watched the episode. They've always turned out perfectly, unlike my previous attempts at broiling, pan frying, etc. I've since shared this technique with friends and family, all of whom rave how easy and fool-proof it is.

I could never cook a steak properly until I tied Tyler's method. My finicky husband flipped over it. Now I will be keeping steaks in the freezer regularly instead of only having them at restaurants! Thanks, Tyler!

This is the best and quickest way I have ever made filet mignon. This is a staple at our house!!!

Tyler I just want to say I enjoy every one of your shows, I get to see. I do know how to cook, & work part time at Publix Supermarket, doing food demos.
I enjoy a good steak once in awhile, but could never get it right no matter how much I'd pay for the steak, This one for the Filet helped me tremendously. Just happened to have 2 filets in my freezer. Made it that night
and it was perfect. Medium rare, and very tender & juicy, just perfect. better than having it out.
Thanks so much, I think your great in the kitchen and with all the people you help.

I made this for Christmas Eve dinner. I will never go out for steak again. Easy, quick and so tender. Thank you Tyler.

Oh my gosh! I made this exactly like the recipe---which I rarely do-- and did we like it. The only thing I changed is I substituted Mahi Mahi for the beef filet.Try this. Am going to try with Chicken ,.
