Tyler's receipe is the only way I prepare roast chicken!!! I saw this episode quite a while back and adopted it right away as my own. I do roast the potatoes (and sometimes carrotsseparately as I oil them generously, add garlic/thyme and cook longer for real cripsy texture. This is a winner all the way....Tyler is my favorite chef on Foodnetwork!!!

Very tasty and super easy to prepare. The leftovers (if you have any! are great in salads or sandwiches. The potatoes were very good as well, but next time I might try coating them in a little olive oil, rosemary, and garlic before roasting for a little extra zing. I will make this again and again, yummy!

This was incredibly easy and it tasted delicious. It was so easy that I am going to try doing a turkey next! I didn't use a free range chicken it still tasted excellent.

My whole family loved it. My family was tired of chicken until I make this dish. They eat it right down to the bones. No scraps left over for my dog. Boy was she mad.
