This was the BEST macaroni and cheese recipe I have ever made and will definetly make it again. The sharp white cheddar, the thyme and the bacon and onion just make it!!!I could eat a whole pan of this!

This is delicious and my family loved it. I made it with and without the bacon. I will say I do not like it as much reheated, but fresh it is tops.I did not have thyme-fresh on hand, so I used just a little dry.

Took a lil longer than I'd expected to make, but was so worth it!! I think, next time, I may omit the first shot of garlic, but add it w/ the bacon & onion. Left-overs were just as good as right out of the oven. You did it again Tyler!!

My Huusband and I loved this twist on Mac&Cheese. My boy's didn't so much, but they think Mac & Cheese comes in a blue box :o
This was well worth the extra effort the flavor was phenomenal. Will definately make this again!
    Thanks Tyler

I made this last night for dinner and it was pretty good. My hubby loves mac and cheese so i gave this a try he liked it but said the mac and cheese i normally make is much better. Will keep this recipe on file and maybe tweak it a bit. I also made the other recipes that went with this and they were fabulous especially the roasted tomato soup.

good basic recipe for mac and cheese. i changed the recipe a little to my taste. i don't eat meat, so i omitted the bacon and sauted the onion in the butter before adding the flour. I also added some cayenne, garlic powder and dry mustard to the milk misture. then i added a bunch of different cheeses instead of just one. my mix was chedder, sharp white cheddar, blue cheese and some guyere because that was what i had in the fridge. after stirring it all together i added some chopped tomatoes. i was too hungry to wait until it came out of the oven, so i ate it off the stove top. it probably would have been better to wait and let the tomatoes cook a bit. once again, a good basic recipe that you can change to your tastes. way to go tyler!

In watching the episode where Tyler actually made this great looking Mac'N Cheese, I couldn't wait to make it. Once it was out of the oven, I was unable to eat it right away. It was about 20 minutes after, that I served it and it wasn't as creamy or flavorful as I thought it would be. The bacon/onion toppings definitely helped. This is the first homeade Mac'N Cheese that I've made and I don't know if I'd make another one with white cheddar.

I read a lot of the reviews and I believe that everyone that didn't care for it really didn't whisk the cheese mixture enough. You really need to whisk the butter and flour very well as well as the cheese. I think that is why some people thought it was grainy. I am not a mac and cheese person, but this was by far the best I have ever had or made. I used turkey bacon, skim milk, and 50% less fat cheese. Just wanted to cut some of the fat. I also didn't have the parsley. The garlic, thyme, and onions really gave this flavor. Make and Enjoy!!
