This is the 2nd time I've made this dish and still was a huge hit with my family. First time, I followed recipe exactly as stated. This time, I only had about 2 cups white sharp and other flavors such as: Mozzarell/Provolone mix and medium cheddar. Since my hubby works at a cheese factory, I usually have everything. This was so delicious even though I improvised a bit. Thanks Tyler!

Mac n'cheese is one of my all time favorites, so I was really excited to try the "Ultimate". This was a huge disappoinment. It lacked the rich cheesy flavor that you would expect from a good mac n'cheese. The bacon/onion/garlic was a fun addition, and I might use it in the next mac n'cheese recipe that I try.

Tyler you did it again! This is the very best Mac 'n' Cheese. I made it for my daughter cause i didn't like Mac 'n' Cheese till I tried this recipe, It's soooo GOOD and the bacon on top make it perfect. Everyone needs to try this recipe you won't regret it!!

Took this to our regular Sunday Night Church Group and it was absolutely the hit of the night ... don't even think there was any leftovers. Thanks for adding a little spunk and grown up taste to Mac n Cheese.

This version wasn't as cheesy and creamy as I expected. My kids ate it but said it was not worth repeating. The texture was grainy and without flavor. They told me to keep looking for the ultimate mac and cheese recipe because this was not it.

The best Mac & cheese I have ever tasted. Relatively easy to prepare too. This is the only homemade mac & cheese my husband has eaten second helpings of and gone back for more another day. The only one I have eaten more of after tasting it.
The Bacon and onion on top is the perfect touch for extra flavor!!
