I made this recipe for a Spanish dinner party along with Tyler's paella recipe. It was just what it said - simple and fantastic. Everyone loved it and was scraping the gooey sauce onto the cheese and crackers from the plate just to get some more. For those who mentioned that the sauce separated or was too buttery, you might have not cooked the butter enough. I found it mixed and remained mixed after serving. This is a must! I will definitely make it again.

This is so easy and it is outstanding, everyone at the party loved it and said they had never had anything like it before. I used dried figs, which I cut and puffed to look like flowers around the cheese. The cheese, browned, honey butter is delicious with the figs.
    Thanks again Tyler!

Well, the butter solids & honey sunk to the bottom while the butter fat floated on top. Even whisking didn't keep it together. And it was quite watery--thought it would be thicker. Maybe it needed to cool more.
I poured a lot of the top off and just spread the brown goodness. Becuase it tasted awesome--could have drank it!
Also, 1/2 lb manchego is more than it looks. It served 4 easily with apple slices & crackers.

This is a wonderful recipe. Browning the butter is essential - it adds a rich, nutty flavor. Serve with apple slices and toasted almonds - my guests absolutely loved this! I will make again and again.

I liked the honey with the cheese, but I didn't feel like the flavor was strong enough and there was way too much of a buttery flavor. And as soon as I poured the sauce over the cheese the honey and butter separated and the honey sank to the bottom. Maybe I just didn't do something right. Suggestions?

This is absolutely amazing, especially considering how easy it is! I served it with sliced apples and bruschetta-it was devoured in no time! Wonderful.

We loved this - so easy and so tasty - we are saving the leftover butter and honey to spread on toast. Yum.

I am glad I didn't use a whole stick of butter becuase even though I only used 3 tablespoons , I still had too much butter sauce left over. I used kosher salt becuase I never have sea salt and it was sooo good. I drizzed a little more honey over the cheese and poured myself a glass of red wine and I thought I was at a fancy cocktail party in heaven. It is vey good and so easy. The manchego cheese will cost you an arm and leg but it is worth it.
