I did exactly what It said, the mixture came out too thick and globbed ontop of the ice. I think maybe if you mix the fruit muxture with a simple syrup it would be better and sweeter

This dessert is quick, easy, and simply adapted to your own taste. I make it or a variation about 5 times a week. almost any semi-firm - firm fruit works wonders. A splash of fruit juice in it is also wonderful.

Here is a slightly modified version of this slushy that you will LOVE. I buy a bag of mangoes and strawberries every week just to make it every other couple of days: Blend five strawberries, half a peeled mango, a cup of ice, and a packet of sugar substitute (Splenda of Stevia extract in a blender. Pour and relish! Add or subtract ice or fruit for a consistentsy that matches your taste. This serves one so just double or triple for more. I like "eating" it with a spoon, but you can slurp it too. This is seriously the best smoothie/slushie/fruit drink I've ever had and it doesn't even have anything unhealthy in it!

I just watched this show and he didn't puree anything seperately. He put everything (crushed up ice and fruit in a food processor and blended. Then he used the lime by cutting it into wedges and squeezing a wedge over the individual servings. I am giving it 5 stars because it can't be bad...it's fruit and ice.
