We made this turkey for Christmas and it was probably the best turkey I ever had! The bacon is so delicious and it makes an interesting gravy- sweet and salty. We also used the store-bought bag of stuffing (onion and sage and diced some apples to put into it and the stuffing was wonderful with the flavors of the turkey. Highly recommended!

I used this recipe for my turkey this year and it was FANTASTIC! The turkey was very moist and all the flavors came together nicely. I will definately make this turkey again next year. I had people fighting over the bacon at the dinner table.

This turkey turned out sweet and crispy on the outside, and tender and flavorful inside. The bacon is an awesome idea -- keeps it extra moist.

I followed Tyler's super easy directions for my Thanksgiving turkey, and this recipe is fantastic. Even the leftovers were fantastic. Great recipe. It is now my most requested recipe at the holidays.

I made this recipe using a turkey breast, it turned out wonderfully well. The house smelled wonderful and the turkey was a hit with my boyfriend. I used 100% pure maple syrup and diluted it with orange juice. I also injected the turkey with the juice. Will definately do this again.

This made a great turkey. I would have liked to have tasted more of the maple, but overall you can't beat the flavor of this bird. The bacon keeps the breast moist so you won't have a dried out turkey!

I am brine girl usually but cheaped out with the free butterball this year so had to find a non-brine recipe. Well this one was easier, tastier and way moist and juicy! DELICIOUS and will be the standard Thanksgiving Meal from now on. TYLER this one rocked thanks for making me a star on Thanksgiving. As always Tyler's recipes have never disappointed.

That's what the family named the turkey when they saw the bacon on top (pork/turkey=purkey. Ok we're wierd but the flavor was soooooo yummy. I did think that the maple syrup would make more of a glaze type coating on top and it didn't.

This was an easy recipe to follow. I've used the sage and butter for the last few years and it adds a nice flavor. The bacon was a huge hit but the maple was half liked, half not. I'll keep using the sage and butter but we might skip the rest next year.
