I'd give this recipe 2.5 stars. I was so excited to try this based on all the rave reviews...but was sadly disappointed with the results. I used my own stuffing recipe but followed the turkey recipe as written. The maple glaze gave the turkey a beautiful bronzed skin but left an odd flavor. Luckily, the sweetness really did not penetrate the meat but stayed on the skin. I love bacon...really love bacon...but could not eat more than a nibble of one of the slices due to the overwhelming maple flavor. The meat was decently moist but I've had juicier birds. Although I was leery of making gravy with the drippings, I thought it deserved a shot. Way too sweet and down the drain it went. Had to make another gravy from scratch. I really enjoy Tyler but won't be trying this recipe again...

I made this for the 2nd year in a row and the family wants to sponsor me as our family caterer now! I have used the recipe for the dressing on its own thru out the year for different events, just as a side. To the dressing i add dried cramberries and chopped celery to give a little extra flavor.

SOOOOO good! Did not have time to make cornbread, so I used corn muffins that I bought from Walmart. The stuffing was amazingly delicious. Turkey was moist and flavorful. Love the sage butter, bacon and maple flavors.

I've made this for years now, and my family loves it...the stuffing is great too...I use regular stuffing mix, not cornbread, and add more veggies, but the flavors with the sage and cream are amazing. I suggested trying a new turkey recipe and my husband refused to entertain the thought!

This is the far most successful turkey recipe I have ever used, the color, aroma and the tenderness is out of this world. My family loves it so much that I have been using it for the past three years..Thanks Tyler!!!

I substituted thyme for sage, so of course, it was a little different than sage would be, but the turkey and the stuffing was fantastic, and everyone who ate it said it was the best turkey they had ever had.. it was simply awesome!
