I made this stuffing for Thanksgiving and it was delicious. I baked it in a separate baking dish and it came out perfectly. I added in some celery and parsley to the recipe and it was great. I can't wait to make this stuffing again it was that good. THANKS!!

I made this recipe for thanksgiving last week, using chicken instead of turkey (no one in my family eats turkey and my family loved it! The combination of the sage butter and the maple syrup is a killer!

The bacon and maple syrup made my turkey tender and flavorful - the gravy from the drippings was rich and sweet. It took a lot of courage to feed my family something different but the compliments were great to hear. Thanks for making my new Thanksgiving turkey a new family tradition.

The turkey turned out pretty average. Most people did not know the effort involved with the syrup and the bacon because it tasted just like my Mom's traditional turkey. The stuffing was definitely the best part. Yum!

This Thanksgiving was my first time ever to cook a turkey. The recipe was great and very easy to follow. Everybody loved it. I got a lot of comments on how juicy the turkey was and they loved the gravy too. The only thing I had problems with was to get the sage butter under the skin. I ended up throwing most of it away. As a tip I would suggest to always make sure that the bottom of the pan is covered in water. This way the sirup doesn't burn and you end up with a nice gravy.

I made this yesterday and it was really easy and had a very good flavor, was moist and it was very easy to make. I made my stuffing a little different and I didn't place bacon on top of the turkey. I had to used powdered sage since I could not find any fresh sage.

This turkey is delicious! The subtle flavors from the sage, maple syrup and bacon could be tasted throughout the entire bird. What a great recipe!

... although I kept basting the turkey. I can't taste the sage and I didn't stuff the turkey with the stuffing. The maple syrup was a bit too sweet.
