This turkey recipe is the best I ever tried. The meat was so juicy and suculent, the aroma spectacular, and most of all it browned perfectly. Thank you Tyler for sharing this wonderful recipe that can be used anyday especially the holidays.

This was my first year making our family's Thanksgiving Dinner. I was a little nervous, but WOW!! Everyone at my dinner table said that this was the best turkey and stuffing they had ever had!!! The recipe was easy to follow and I had no trouble at all. It was juicy and tender and DELICIOUS!! The best turkey ever. Thank you Tyler for helping me impress my guests! You were a hero in my kitchen this Thanksgiving!

Saw this on TV and husband & I decided to try for this year's Thanksgiving. Was concerned about maple being too strong, but this was EXCELLENT, with no real taste of maple. Simply served as a wonderful way of keeping turkey moist. Will DEFINITELY do this again. You won't be disappointed!

I've been making turkeys for years and was looking for something different. I love Tyler Florence's show. This was a wonderful smelling and looking turkey, but I think I'm just a traditionalist. I don't like sweet gravy. i think next time I'll do the sage butter as a baste and put the bacon on. Still, my sons loved it. The leftovers were the best part.

This was my first turkey and I made 2 of them. It could not have turned out any better. My family raved. The meat came out so juicy, tender and full of flavor. I will not be intimidated by Thanksgiving turkey any more...thanks Tyler!

The added sage butter and bacon just made everything greasy and didn't improve the taste of the turkey. The maple syrup made the gravy much too sweet. The turkey wasn't a disappointment but it didn't taste any different to last year's turkey where I did nothing at all.

After having scoured the internet and several top-rated cookbooks for a turkey recipe, this recipe surely is on the top of our list.

Everyone at the Thanksgiving table loves the turkey. Many of our guests ask for some leftovers to take home. We ended with just barely enough for 2 leftover sandwiches the next day.

This recipe is for keeps in my books & will surely use it again next Thanksgiving.

My first ever turkey, and the first turkey my mother ever took a picture of! The end result was as gorgeous as it was easy as it was delicious. It was the most flavorful and moist turkey any of us had ever had. The cornbread stuffing was universally swooned over, this by a family that has demanded "traditional" turkey and stuffing since forever. A great, great experience.
