Delicious and pretty too! Loved the sauce, used pre-made dough, very easy to prepare....and eat!

I love making homemade pizzas, and this one was great. But I hate making the dough. I've started to buy it from my local pizza shop, and then do everything else at home...I've got some great versions and talk about how to pizza margarita, sauce, and more at NoRecipeRequired

Very good, the dough was perfect, the pizza was very fresh tasting, I won't buy store bought again.

Pretty good! Next time I will double the sauce as we like saucier pizza...I used half white and half whole wheat flour and it was excellent crust. I also used a teaspoon of dried herbs instead of the tbsp of the fresh.

This pizza was fantastic! I would have given it 5 stars but like another reviewer, I like my crust more crunchy. The sauce was so easy to make and absolutely delicious! The fresh mozzarella was especially good! Thanks Tyler!

This was a really good pizza. I was looking forward to a crispy pizza crust and was left a little disappointed. It tasted really good though. I did find I had to simmer my sauce for more than 7 or 8 minutes. I'm wondering if that may have had something to do with the fact that I used frozen tomatoes rather than canned. I used my bread machine to make the dough which was super easy. Next time I will try prebaking my crust to get it crunchy. Crispy or not I will definitely make this again.

Love, love, love this pizza! I made it for supper tonight. It was so easy. I didn't have time to make the dough, but I will definitely try it next time. I am not a vegeterian by any means, but the flavors were so bold that I didn't miss the meat one bit. This was one of the best pizzas I've ever had and now will be a regular at my house. Thanks, Tyler!

I have been making Margherita pizza for ages, perfecting it over the years. It's a family tradition. But Tyler Florence's recipe has just become our new staple! His dough is so easy; I do it in the food processor as he did on the show. One thing I discovered is that this actually makes more dough than you need. If you use it to make two pizzas, they're pretty thick and take longer to bake than the 18 minutes (resulting in overdone cheese. We use this dough recipe for 3 or even 4 pizzas, which results in a thinner, crispier crust that is more authentic to Italy. Oh, and I always make the dough with about half white wheat flour, and it turns out great. If you've never made your own dough, try this one. Leftovers are great for calzones, etc.

The tomato sauce has such an intense, delicious flavor. Much tastier than the simple sliced tomatoes I always used before.

    This recipe is fantastic!
