One of the BEST mashed potato recipes. I really impressed family and friends so much they wanted to know the secret. Obviously it was the bay leaf. Thank you Tyler for being creative. Love your cooking.

Haha, wanted to try something new with mashed potatoes, and I just got good, slightly different mashed potatoes. A good staple, but adding less cream and more seasoning (rosemary or trying this with sweet potato would give me something ultra awesome to rave about. Everyone loved 'em for Thanksgiving a few years back but who doesn't love mashed potatoes, anyway?

I made these for Thanksgiving and I was asked to make them again for Christmas. I didn't use as much cream as the recipe called for (I used 1 1/4 cups and added about 1/4 cup of low fat milk. They were just as creamy and really good. I didn't use a ricer, but will try that next time.

Simple and they were a hit at dinner! I can't believe that I'm saying this, but it was my first time making mashed potatoes that didn't come in a box or bag. I bought a lot of potatoes today so I'll need to search for some other recipes to put them to good use. Thanks!!!

Yummy Yummy Mashed Potatoes. I used more chives than the recipe called for, I love chives. These potatoes work very well with Barefoot Contessa's gravy. Thanks Tyler.

I was really excited to make these mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving after reading all of the wonderful reviews! I really wanted these potatoes to be the best potatoes ever, but honestly they taste like normal mashed potatoes! I'm not sure if I made a mistake somewhere along the way - but they tasted just like ordinary mashed potatoes - but still great!!! They almost tasted better as left overs.

Awesome Potatoes! It was a lot of work peeling and chopping these little potatoes(and little expensive but it was so worth it! Had great reviews from my guests.

What can I say. Really good mashed potatoes. I didn't cooked them exactly to the dot, as I was cooking and drinking wine. Ahhh... the joys of Thanksgiving. But delicious.
