    My boyfriend and I have made these mashed potatoes a few times (well, okay, he made them, while I mostly watched and tried not to accidentally set anything on fire. This recipe is absolutely delicious. I love, love mashed potatoes in general and these are my new favorite recipe. Yum!

    People RAVED about these. They were a huge hit. The only thing I did differently was to keep the skins on because I like them that way. These are delicious.

    When I wanted a good recipe for mashed potatoes there was only one place to turn, to Tyler Florence of course. And, un-doubtably, he came through. I paired this recipe with a great pot roast. MMMMmmmm!

    I followed the recipe exactly and something was just off.. I wouldn't say they were "dry" exactly but they weren't as creamy as I thought they'd be. I won't be using this recipe again in the future. It just wasn't a hit with the family.

    These were delicious! I didn't need all of the cream that was in the recipe, but maybe I didn't have enough potatoes. I tried to weigh them out, but added cream to my desired consistency. I also added a head of garlic. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC recipe!

    These were extraordinarily good, probably the best I've ever made and some of the best I've ever had. I used russets and about a 45/55 ratio of heavy cream/half-and-half because that's what I happened to have on hand (also didn't have any chives, mashed them the old-fashioned way, and they still turned out rich, creamy, and quite delicious. This will be my go-to MP recipe from now on. Thanks, Tyler, for an outstanding recipe for my all-time favorite side dish!

    Now I am not going to reveal my age here, but I have been around kicking and cooking for a long time. These are the best mashed potatoes I have ever made. Just be sure that you stir every so often so the cream doesn't scorch on the bottom of your pan (and use a heavy one. Your mouth will love the creamy, satisfying goodness. I will definitely repeat this recipe... I have already passed it on to my brother. Try it!
