I read previous reviews on how much sauce the recipe made. I adjusted using 1 Tbs mayo, 3 Tbs sour cream, approximately 2 Tbs chopped cilantro (use less if your not a fan of it, and a few sprinkles of lemon juice because I didn't have lime. This was enough to slather on 4 ears of corn. My husband liked the flavor but suggested if I grill it again I do so with the husks on after soaking the corn and husk in water for a bit.

This was good, but as many have commented, the sour cream/mayo mix could have been enough for 12 ears of corn! I was unhappy about the waste, since I had to throw WELL over half of the mixture away after slathering the four ears of corn that the recipe called for. I probably would not make this again.

I, too, approached this with trepidation. Mayo and sour cream on corn just did not sound right. However, I am now a believer. I trusted all the high ratings for the recipe and am glad I did. My friends all loved it as well. I cut the mayo, sour cream and cilantro measurements in half and I'm very glad I did. I still had twice as much as I needed to spread on three times the number of ears of corn in the recipe ( 1 dozen . SO GOOD. Well done, Tyler.

At first I thought yuk.........mayonaise and sourcream on corn on the cob....but I was pleasantly surprised. While I have grilled corn and also squeezed lime and hot spices on, I have never done it this way.. I absolutely love fresh parm but thought there was too much on this...and yes it was really messy....I would try it again and also would like to try the more authentic version rolled in butter then mayonaise sans sourcream and with mexican cheese on it not parm...I did love the presentation of it ...and grilled some cut up red peppers throwing it on top with the cilantro for garnish. Everyone did seem to love it.......

The taste was ok to good, and the amount of mix could of been rubbed on 12 ears of corn! .......I had to throw the rest of the away since I only had 4 ears of corn...as the recipe called for.

I was so surprised that this worked first of all. Ive never cooked corn anyway but boiled. But it worked and the corn was really good. I will make again. I did add salt to the mayo and sourcream mixture

...but not quite salty enough; i had better luck by subbing ancho chile powder for the plain stuff and adding a teaspoon of salt to the mayo and sour cream mixture before spreading it on the corn. very good, though.
