Not a fan! To bland with way to many onions! Way to much work for the finish product.

This is my go to recipe whenever we entertain. It's always a huge hit! I add a cup of rice and let it cook before I add the chicken. It makes the soup a little more filling. Yum Yum! Enjoy!

I don't fry my tortilla strips I put them in my bread toaster and then rotate them. Less fat. Mmmmm.

It was good the first time, following the recipe. The next time I wanted more spice so I added a can of chipotle in adobo. With a spoon full of sour cream it made it out of this world.

Really very, very good. I also used a rotisserie chicken, used one large onion instead of 2 medium, and I used 2 cartons of chicken broth. I added a packet of sazon goya con azafran, and squeezed in the juice of a whole lime. I served it with a dollop of sour cream.

I really enjoyed this recipe. My husband and son were reluctant to try it but when they did they had second helpings. My soon did not like the chunky look to the soup so I blended it and then added the tortillas, chees and chopped cilantro. Instead of Jalepenos I used canned chipotles. It was delicous

I also used a rotisserie chicken. A carton of Broth and also added chili powder and cumin. I used a hand blender to smooth it out. Loved it!

The most important thing about this recipe is that it includes homemade chicken stock. This may not be a recipe for Monday night dinner after work and school and soccer practice etc... But, it is the Perfect recipe for Sunday when you wake up and it's too rainy or snowy to leave the house.. everyone has a stuffy nose and football is on All day. The house smells fantastic and it's the perfect amount of nutritious broth and fresh herbs and spices to clear any cold up ; Delicious.. I added some cumin with the pulpy vegetables, and didn't change anything else except I did twice the amount. Takes time, but very easy to make and so worth it!
