    It was very easy to make, but ended up tasting too bland. We had to drown it in seasoning salt and cayenne pepper before we could enjoy it.

    I spent this morning making Tyler's stock and then the chicken soup, instead of writing my term paper. It was far more fun and even better when I got to eat it. My boyfriend loved it and wants me to make it again soon :

    Excellent. Tyler does it again! This is perfect on a cold day or for a spring time lunch. We sometimes substitute the homemade chicken stock for a good store brand (try Whole Foods brand. We also bake our tortilla's in the oven (sprayed with cooking oil and seasoned with kosher salt. . . just as good, quick and not all the fat in the deep fried version called for in the recipe.

    I've been making this soup for several months now and we love it. I have added canned corn as well as canned black beans too it, and that helps stretch it out some. We love this soup! I have even put the seeds of the jalapenos in too. We can't get enough of it. Thanks Tyler!!!!
