I made these for a 4th of july bbq and they were a huge hit! Very light and fresh, great for the summer heat. They were so easy, I didn't spend all my time in the kitchen making drinks, I was able to enjoy my guests. I made the simple syrup with Splenda to cut the calories and you would never have known it!

We loved this recipe. I had tried making mojitos in the past, and it just didn't appeal to us. My college age daughter asked me to make them, because they are currently the hot drink. I snipped the mint with kitchen shears, then mixed it with all the other ingredients, except for the rum, and let them sit in the refrigerator for a few hours. I blended the concoction, and then strained it before adding the ice and rum. I am not a fan of having greenery in my drink, so this extra step worked very well for me. The balance of lime and mint was wonderful. I will definitely make this again!

No matter what recipe I'm looking for, I check first to see if Tyler has one posted here. The mojito's were easy and a big hit with one and all. I'll be bringing a bunch of them premade for any event requiring refreshments this summer!!! Thanks Tyler for another winner!

This was great after a long day being outside. The colder it is the better! The blender does all the work, we ran out of lime juice and juiced a lemon into it. It still turned out great and cut the sweetness a bit.
