These are my first batch of cookies I have ever made and they turned out excellent! I still can't make cookies as good as my mom, but I am very happy with them!

Not at all what I hoped for. They lack in taste and have a muffin-like consistency. Not worth the extra calories.

We don't do eggs so I replaced the eggs with 1/2 cup of applesauce and it was soooo good! I always get compliments every time I make them :

Too salty, it would have been better without all the salt!

Made these for the kids at school as a thank-you for helping out with auditorium lights and sound for concerts. They were gone within the hour ... they loved 'em! They turned out to be a bit cake-like, but that's how I like them. Yum!

These are so-so. They're edible, but rather spongy and flavorless. Skip these and try something with more sugar in them. 2.5 cups of sugar, 1 cup butter, 3/4 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup white sugar isn't a good ratio.

These were very good and so easy to make, I just used a light tap of the finger of buttermilk on each one to flatten the top, and dark chocolate as well.

Omg...I decided to make these cookies on Christmas Eve..and i must say they are a definite hit...they are all gone!! I shared them with my family and they also loved them...my mom is now going to make them and I've got my dad wanting to make him more already..I must say, I didnt have any blocked chocolate so I used semi chocolate chips instead...I should have added just a lil more chips..you could realllly taste the butter in these cookies..I will be making more soon..maybe this weekend. :

It wasn't horrible, but I definitely have had better. Not sure why it gets such high ratings?
