These cookies are great! My husband wants "birthday cookies" instead of cake, and these were the perfect choice. Soft and chewey, perfect with a big glass of milk. I added chopped roasted pecans.

These are the best cookies. Try using chocolate chunks instead of chips. AWESOME!!!

TOO MUCH FLOUR in this recipe. It comes out cake like and doesn't spread properly. I wouldn't recommend using more than 2-2 1/4 cups flour. All that hard work....

I would have to agree with the reviews that says there cake like, and I was wanting to bake some cookies not little cakes, but they don't taste bad, just to cake like.

This is my go-to chocolate chip cookie recipe! I've been making it for about 3 years now, and every time I try to make a different recipe my friends, family and co-workers complain that they want Big, Fat Chocolate Chip Cookies! I've given this recipe out more than any other. Try it and I doubt you'll be disappointed!

awesome! the kids now want Daddy to make CCC instead of Mommy. when Mommy felt that i took something away from her (baking cookies with the kids, i asked the kids to ask, "Mommy, will you make cookies with us but use Daddy's recipe?". in fairness, Mommy makes the Small, Flat CCC. i like the Big, Fat CCC; and now my 3 children do too!
