This was simply, FABULOUS!!! So easy too. Made this for my boyfriends birthday, and he LOVED it. He said it was better than we could have gotten at a restuarant. Some people have commented that the brandy flavor was too strong. I disagree. Maybe they needed to cook it down more. You have to make sure to reduce the brandy down to a syup. Also, my mushrooms sucked up all the sauce when I added them to the pan, so I just added a splash more cream and then continued to reduce. WOW! So good. I paired it with the Potatoes Gratin from the same show. They were also very easy to make and SO yummy. Over all... this ones a keeper! Thanks, Tyler!

I had a sauce similar to this at a restaurant and wanted to make something similar at home. I made this with Top Sirloin and Baby Portabellos, and it was phenomenal. The sauce tasted a bit on the strong side, so I added another drizzle of cream. This was the best steak I've ever made at home, and my boyfriend agreed.

P.S. If you don't like mushrooms like me, make the sauce as stated. You still want those flavors in the sauce. Then when it came time to serve, I just put sauce on mine and gave my boyfriend all the mushrooms with sauce.

I made this for my sister about 4 months ago and she keeps blowing up my Facebook to make it for her again! It's VERY good. First time I think I used too much salt -- so go easy on it!

This is one of the best recipes I have tried from the Food Network! Everyone loved it. A daughter who disliked mushrooms became a mushroom-lover! I did substitute non-alcoholic red wine for the brandy. My sauce needed a lot longer to cook and didn't seem as thick as Tyler's, but it was definitely a keeper. We have made it 3 times already!

The sauce is very flavorful. I like leaving the mushrooms whole as well. This recipe is on point. Thanks Tyler!

It was good, but less brandy could have been better. After few bites, the sauce just felt a bit strong.

I can count the times I've been excited preparing recipes from the Food Network and this was one of them. I've never drunk brandy, let alone cooked with it. I told my mom, "Prepare to be wowed!" And she was. My kids ages 6 and 7 are hard food critics, and they loved it! I need to give credit where it's due and this is an amazing dish. Thanks! Oh, and the scalloped potatoes that complement it is also what my mom couldn't get enough of :-
