    We made the brandied mushrooms to go with Tyler's Prime Rib recipe. This sauce is delicious but we had to add more cream. It could have used a bit of acid to balance the sweet of the cream. Might try more brandy or a dash of lemon zest next time. This is a must with beef and looking forward to trying it with poultry.

    I only made the mushrooms and left the steak to the boyfriend but these were an awesome compliment to the strip steaks he grilled. We both love mushrooms and ate every bite. This recipe is good enough with white or crimini mushrooms but if you can spring for wild mushrooms it is phenomenal.

    This was just a fantastic recipe. It was easy, fairly quick and very yummy. The sauce compliments the steak well. I followed the directions, as stated, to great results. Would not change a thing. My husband kept commenting how tasty it was thru out dinner. This is a keeper recipe, that I will definitely be using in the future. Thank you Tyler for a lovely recipe.

    I have made this sauce many times and each time I can't believe how great it tastes. Everyone I have made this for say it delicious. This sauce also works great with chicken fillets. When using chicken, I bake it instead and then just add it (whole pieces to the sauce. Tyler, You Rock!!!
