To the last cook who can't get it right: why are you trying to form them into squares? The idea is to mix the dough as little as possible, just until mixed, then drop the dough in large spoonfuls onto the baking sheet. Hopefully that small difference will give you perfect scones next time!

These are the best scones ever made and easy too! I've made them replacing the blueberries with chocolate chips and dried cranberries - equally as good.

These scones are wonderful. The key really is to mind how much you work the dough (just until incorporated!, and to not overbake them (to the point of not being sure they're really done yet. I made a half batch and my husband and I ate them all in one day -I'm not proud of it, just honest! Tyler, you...are...awesome.

I MADE THESE FOR A MOTHERS DAY BRUNCH, AND EVERYONE LOVED THEM. I USED TO MUCH ORANGE JUICE FOR THE GLAZE, BUT I JUST ADDED MORE POWDERED SUGAR. I WOUND UP DOUBLING THE AMOUNT OF GLAZE BUT USED EVERY BIT. YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY.

I added cinnamon to mine because I love it with blueberries. I have added them to my "Sunday morning" list.
Nice texture and so simple and quick. I didn't do the glaze and they are still wonderful.
