These scones were very easy to make, it didn't take me long at all. They tasted all right, the only thing I didn't like was that it was way too low on sugar and way too much salt. When we first had them, they were so salty! No, I didn't mess up on the salt, I did everything as told, and no, I didn't use salted butter, I used unsalted. Next time I'll use less salt and a little more sugar.

Made for my 3 boys and they ate them so fast I couldn't get them out of the oven fast enough.

Very good with or without the glaze. Thank you Chef Florence!

These scones came out perfectly. I did not use buttermilk, but it did not matter. They came out smaller then I had thought but tasted very good. I did not use the glaze because I didnt want them to be to sweet and I am not a fan of orange glaze.

I thought my batter might have been too thick and over-mixed, but they turned out delicious anyway. We ate them straight out of the oven and didn't need the glaze, although I think the glaze or a dollop of whipped cream would be nice for the leftovers.

Great recipe. I didn't even shift my flour, and they came soft and delicious. I'm going to make them again right now. I can't wait to steal that other commenter's idea about using crarnberries during the holidays.

On their own these scones are nothing to write home about, but the glaze takes them to another level. The dough was hard to work with and very sticky and there seemed to be way too many blueberries, but in the end it all came together beautifully. I made these for a brunch birthday party and my brother said they were one of the best things he had ever tasted. I will definitely be making these again.

I made this scones today for my mom and they were fantastic! I was kind of worried that the butter I used would alter the taste of the scones b/c it wasnt unsalted butter. However, you could barely taste the difference! The Ireason why I rated this a 4 out of a 5 was b/c it took longer for my scones to bake. It took me about 23 mins to bake in my 400 degree oven. My oven is accurate so I cant say its a false temp. I didnt care much of the orange glaze. I just used the ordinary vanilla glaze.
The scones turned out flaky and not super sweet. I would definitely reccomend this recipe. However, I would consider adding an extra tbsp of sugar. Just to add a little bit more sweetness.
