These are so easy to make they are becoming one of my breakfast staples. They are so versatile too. You can make them apple cinnamon, strawberry, cranberry, whatever you want. Made them for Mother's Day breakfast at my Mom's and everyone loved them. I actually prefer them without the glaze as I think they are sweet enough w/o it. Just a little butter when they are hot out of the oven. My husband likes them with the glaze though so it's just a matter of preference. If this is your 1st time making them, only put glaze on half of the scones and decide for yourself.

These were incredible, and not difficult at all. I didn't care too mcuh for the orange glaze but you can make them with or without. I made these for a Mother's Day brunch and will definitely make them again.

Hi, everyone. Listen Mother's Day is this Sunday and I want to let my mom sleep in and enjoy a brunch in bed. I plan on making her a nonalchohlic mimosa and was wondering if any of you over 21 would know whether any of these orange scones would taste good with it or not. I'd appreciate the help since I've never had a sip of anything alcholic

These are probably the best scones I have made. You can change any fruit for the Blueberry's (You may hace to adjust sugar and the cream is what makes these special.

This is one of the all time great recipes on the site. I make it in the food processor, and use soy milk instead of cream, and they are perfect every time. Dried cranberries are great in the winter.

I make these all the time. They are fast easy and delicious. They come out like soft pillows. I don't think they need any glaze. I use frozen blueberries dusted with flour. They don't break in the dough and cook up fine in the oven. I have also made them with raisins (add one cup of raisins dusted with flour.

These turned out even better than I thought! I've been looking for a good recipe for scones and this did not disappoint! In fact, the flavor was even better than I expected. I was hoping for something as good as the scones I get from my local Starbucks, but instead I found their replacements! I'll definitely be making these often; they're too quick and easy (and tasty! not to. I used heavy whipping cream instead of buttermilk and skipped the orange glaze altogether. My sister likes to bake too and I can't wait to share this recipe with her. If you're looking for a recipe for great scones, this is it.

1st time I have ever baked or eaten a scone, and this recipe was absolutely irresistable. I made these crumbly, moist nuggets for breakfast when visiting my daughter and husband since she doesn't cook. They were so yummy and easy that she watched me whip up a 2nd batch for them so that she could make them after we flew back. DO NOT forego the orange glaze topping - it is a blast of delightful flavor! finish!

This was so easy and turned out perfectly! I used raspberries instead of blueberries and lemon juice in place of orange. The scones were moist and light - not hard or dry like even many bakeries do them. These are indeed similar to the good ones you get in England. We could not stop eating them! I want to make more already!
